SOOOOOOOOO after something like four years, I finally decided to wear my Sniper Wolf costume. I brought her out for PAX Prime 2011, and boooy was that a waste of time. I had three people ask me if I was cosplaying from X-Men.

I still don't have a proper PSG-1, simply because I physically cannot bring myself to spend $600+ on an airsoft rifle that I would have to gut out to make con safe. Sorry, cosplay. I like you, but I don't like you that much!

don't know how people could confuse you with any XMen characters.... and $600 for an airsoft rifle? I've never heard of one that much! did you look at modifying a cheaper paintball gun? It would look awesome !

Unfortunately, her gun is very specific. It's hard to fake a PSG-1, and I've never seen a paintball gun that's come even close. And very few airsoft companies manufacture a model like hers, so it's stuuuuuuupid expensive. ;_;
